You Won't Believe Your Eyes!

No, it's not a new hairstyle! That would probably not amuse you as much as this, although it might! Ha! No, no, this is over the top Magnolia style! Yup, a Boston Pup, I should've known better! Greeting me at the baby gate as I came around the corner, was sweet Magnolia, trying to hurdle the gate and barking and full of excitement to see me, the other dogs trying to not get stomped by the pup, but equally excited.... and there in the background! I don't even know what to call this...A HOT MESS... the worst ever! See for yourself! Just tilt you head sideways a bit! Ha!

Yes, sweet Magnolia, sweet little Magnolia, this is her masterpiece! After being at work, then getting my hair done, almost running out of gas, and finally home.... what a warm welcome! Maybe I should enter her into the demolition derby! She is good and destruction is her specialty! Notice how at the end of the filming she just looks through the sliders like, no big deal! Bad Magnolia, Bad! Poor Beanie and Roxy, being contained with this craziness all day, no wonder they run and hide when I get home! Magnolia, What are we going to do with you girl?

Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow! Or not!

Tomorrow I am going to get my hair cut! Yay! Nothing major just a trim. Although I always go through these phases, make it short, no I want it long, bangs yes or no? Curls or Straight? I guess it is a girl thing. Ha! So of course right now my hair is in that in between stage, so I hate it! And humidity, don't even get me started! So what's a girl to do? I guess tomorrow will tell when I see Lisa, stylist extraordinaire! Ha! She'll love that! Don't get too excited though, no one will probably even tell a difference! I will just say give it a trim after my conditioning treatment and nothing will change! Ahhhh to be adventurous!

Family Ties

My in-laws gave me some more great pics from our anniversary celebration! I know you can't wait! Ha! Danny and I are so blessed to have supportive families behind us. Too many times there are conflicts and issues that interfere with the specialness behind the family unit! Even out to our extended family on each side, the love we share is an unbroken bond, even extended to family we don't see that often. Which is a part of the reason I do this blog, an automated scrapbook of my life to share with family and friends!

Isn't this a fabulous picture of my parents! What a great couple, well obviously, they raised me-and look how that turned out! Ha! This night was so much fun, I just can't get enough!

And here are my in-laws, Danny parents; all smiles, of course with my father-in-law that's all there ever is. He is a riot! Ha! Sometimes it just seems wrong to laugh at some of the things he says!

As if I had to tell you whose parent were whose, yes it's apparent who we belong to! It's all in the eyes, The brown belongs to the brown and the blue the blue!

Danny, with the gene pool we've been blessed with, our kids will be something else, no doubt! Well except for your nose and my pinky toe of course! Ha!

Traveling is so much fun! Below are some travel albums, courtesy of Shutterfly, that I would like to share with you! These are some of the trips Danny and I have taken. Always an adventure, always wonderful memories! Paris with the one you love, Gelato in Rome, Gondolas in Venice, the rapids in the Costa Rican Jungle, late night Princess Cruise Love Boat reruns, hand painted shells in Acapulco... it's all here, our memories in print. Enjoy...

Snow White? No, Just Julie.

Today after church, I went to Lowes to buy my annual porch and deck plants! While I was there wondering aimlessly around seeing what I liked, a bird in the rafters pooped on my head. Oh joy! After thinking about whether or not I needed to run out and leave or clean it up, I cleaned it and continued shopping. It wasn't as bad as I thought! Luckily no one saw this happen, that could've been horrifying! But here I am telling you, so how horrifying was it really? Ha! Any was I grabbed an available pull cart for flowers and began my shopping. 1 tree, 2 hanging baskets, 1 porch fern, and 2 flower baskets later, I was done. There was a picnic table and 2 Adirondack chairs that were calling out to me, but without a truck I left them behind!

So here is the part that made my day... a little girl with her mom, said "look mom it's Snow White" "it's really her mom, Snow White" She thought I was Snow White, it was very cute. I just smiled kindly, her eyes big as a bugs! Kids have such imagination, to think Snow White, was at Lowes in York, very cute. And that little girl made my day. Sometimes you just need to hear something sweet. God puts things into your path when you need them most, a kind word, a scripture, a hug... He always knows where your heart is at that very moment. So, pictured above, the dress I wore for the first time today, will be forever remembered as my Snow White dress, and I will recall the joy on this little girls face. And like God provided me with what I needed, maybe "seeing Snow White" was just what this little girl needed. And of course, there are some similarities, like Snow White, the birds seem to come to me! Ha!
