This Post, the Big 101!

Today, I am celebrating passing the 100 blog milestone! Yes, this is blog 101! I cannot believe that I have written 100 posts, 100 things related to me, 100 blessings to share, 100 memories to bank! For some, 100 may be nothing as they have written thousands, but for me starting out just this year, it's definitely a milestone! Thanks to all who have stopped by to check out my blog, those who follow, and those who I know are closet readers and mention it constantly but do not follow! Cheers to 100+ more!
This is 101 in my archive, some written, did not make it to post, they were more therapeutic for me! Ha! I am aware there are only 95 in 2010. But it really is 101, Ha!

Lucky me, I came across this while I was running errands the other day! A third book by Tori Spelling, she is one of my favorites, not author of course, actress! Ha! It comes from those 90210 days, and yes before you ask, I have been known to watch the reruns, and I have some of the DVD's. It's classic reminiscence! Ha! Actually, I like her style, her current style to clarify! I am not sure I could pull off the half belly shirts from 90210! What are they called anyway? hmmm.. something to ponder I guess. So far I have only read the first chapter, but like the others, I am sure I will love it!

Autobiography type books are absolutely my favorite, I am fascinated by what goes on in peoples lives, the challenges they face, their everyday, the sense of realness... it really helps you to see that people are just people. As I have said before, there is just 1 me and just 1 you, none of us are exactly alike, not even identical twins, something is always different! And that is precious, a gift to hold dear! Sometimes I wake up and really don't want to be me, but at the end of the day, or days (Ha!) I realize that I have quite a bit to offer, something that no one else has, Me.

Tori Spelling is always in the spotlight for some drama in her life, her mother, her weight, Dean and Tori destined to split... and to try to maintain sanity in all of this I don't know how she does it! But she has her moments where it just all collapses and she picks herself back up, and that's why I like her books, they seem honest and wholehearted. Yes I am not that naive, some things are probably sugar-coated, but I feel like I can relate .

Many times, if you are being really honest with yourself, you feel like everyone has eyes on you and they are somehow judging you, your looks, your weight, your clothes, your financial status... and isn't that sort of like being in the lime light everyday, like being a Tori Spelling or celebrity whoever. Think about it, although far fetched, we live in a very judging society, and oh have I been guilty of doing my fair share! How's that for sugar coated, Ha, sour yes I know! Not my finest moments, but the point is none of these things matter, they don't make you superior or inferior to anyone else EVER!

This is a rant now but my point is, it is very important to be true to you, think about all of the things that are unique to you, no one else, the things that make others desire to be with you, whether it is 1 person or 1000 people, snatch these things up from deep within, be thankful for your blessings. At the end of the day, there is only 1 you and at the end of the day you are living your autobiography...

Feeling Hot Hot Hot ; )

If you are living in the Mid East Coast, you know that the weather has been crazy hot, and oh the humidity-rough! But overall, I guess it could be worse. 2010 is definitely a year to remember for weather, 4 feet+ of snow, 100 degree days, we skipped spring completely it seems, and I keep praying for a "true fall" of course my favorite, remember, Ha!

But really, minus the heat, the past few days have been good. I talked to my Husband, he will be coming home in just a few weeks, Fabulous, I can't wait to see him, and we though it wouldn't be until September! Yay, it's going to be great! Lots of V8's on the work schedule! Ha! More Pool at my parents, always refreshing, and helps the tan! Ha! Work is busy but seemingly I am right in track with my projects! Thanks, God! And coming off of the fourth has been nice, more fireworks that night, love it!

Also, my cousins wife has persuaded me to re-diet! Do you like that? My Word it's ok! Ha! So this time it is South Beach, I have researched and I have done well the past few days. And you will love this, I have cut out the soda! Water and Diet tea for me these days! The main thing has been the bread, I love it and am addicted to it, but for the past 2 days there has been no consumption. It's time for me to be serious, please pray. I acknowledge that I am not overweight, nor am I trying to be 100lbs of course, but my food habits are extremely unhealthy and I am steadily gaining. This needs to be a lifestyle change. It's hard, I am so weak. It will only be through prayer and God's strength that I can do this. Thanks Amanda for the courage to do this, you were an inspiration- and I bet you didn't even know it! Ha!

Happy 4th of July 2010!

All I have to say is what a great holiday weekend! First of all, FIREWORKS, I love them, always have! It is so awesome to see the sky light up and the bang, pops, love it love it! Overkill, maybe? But you get the point! Ha! So in every community, there are 4th celebrations; pre 4th fireworks, check, 4th fireworks, plan to check, and sometimes even the day after you see them here and there! It is truly a historic celebration, the 4th of July. Then and now, Thanks God for the people who have fought for our freedom.... wow, Thanks!

So yesterday started off with a 12 mile bike ride on the trail with my parents. The bees kness definitely! Ha! After the ride a few errands in the afternoon and then a Surprise 50th birthday for my moms cousin!

Dad and Moma on their bikes!

Me, pictured not so great, but hey the bike looks fabulous! Ha! Don't you love it?

The NCR trail, I recommend it for riding, walking, or jogging! MD-PA, it is just a great, safe outdoor place, little stores along the way oh and in Monkton, there is TUBING! Which if you have never been, are missing out!

Which, once again, family parties, always a good time! After the party I went to my Cousin's house for the fireworks pictures above.. definitely a front row view! And right from their deck! Which I got to see their house and I haven't seen it in a while, super cute! Today cook-outs, Tonight, more fireworks, and even tomorrow... a pool day cook-out at my parents, but right now I need to get ready for church. Last thought, Danny you are missing out on all the fun, come home soon! XO
