Girls Just want to have fun

Today was a great Saturday! I really enjoy having the weekends off, like most everyone I know! ha! I met up with my friend Kristine for lunch, a little shopping, and a movie. We had a fabulous time! I was craving pizza, so that's what we ate (mind you the first pizza since I've begun the diet). It was very tasty! ha! Shopping was successful, even found out that at certain stores, i.e. NY&C, nurses get a 15% discount- how cool is that, I will be shopping there again definitely! I got two shirts, a pair of pants, and a new cute belt! They usually keep up with the style trends pretty well.

We went to see Valentines Day, it was cute, I am a sap for movies like these, so of course, I loved it! There were a lot of well known actors in the movie which also made it intriguing! Most of the actors I really like. Usually, I don't like going to the movies, it' not a good place to catch up with friends you haven't seen in a while at least, but this was super cute and Kristine and I had a great gals day out!

Must be something about the month of February, first I saw Leap Year and now I've seen Valentines Day. Hmmm, I wonder if I'll look at these days differently from now on?! ha! Just a side note, from the movie previews, it looks like a lot of good movies are about to debut! Now you can plan your own gals day out!

Word Jumble?

Okay I don't know what is wrong with my blog but it is writing 2 different sizes of my font and breaking sentences where it shouldn't! Ahhh, I could just scream! But, I guess it's because of the you tube video because it's not doing it now! Sorry for the jumbled mess on the previous blog! It'll have to do!

Love it Love it Love it! This is such a good song! And to top it all off Danny and I met in a market! Well we worked there so it is a bit different but you get the idea ! I am happily anticipating

Pretty now, but just wait in a few more weeks this cube will be piled high with papers, files and just plain everything! This is my cubical in MIS. As I have mentioned before, I am really liking my new position and seem to be slowly but surely adjusting to the lifestyle change! Ha!

I am anything but plain so the cube definitely needs a little something! I am not sure what to do just yet but it will come to me, it always does! Ha! Everyone is so nice and helpful here and although I miss my friends in the MICU, I am happy to be a part of this team! I needed a new challenge definitely, and I've got one! But it's fun ! Any cube decor tips, post them here ; ) !

My Prayer, It Continues!

4lbs down, 11 to go! Skinny jeans here I come! Ha! Actually I feel great and am hoping with my new cookbook, I can stick with eating great too! Gotta keep my Heart Healthy... In more ways than one! My Prayer, it continues!

You + Me =BFF

This is a fabulous week, and it's only Monday! Ha! I am really into my new job and the best part, I get to ride to work most of the week with my BFF! With an hour drive to work to and from it is great to have company! And there is no better company than this! Sing, Talk, Laugh, Cry, Dance, EAT... anything is possible when the two of us are together and reflecting on the events of our day, week, past, present, or future! Ha! We are training to be 2 of the 4 Golden Girls you know! Any takers on 2 more. think about it, we have a few years ahead of us! Ha! It is so great to just be yourself with your best gal friend! She just accepts you for who you are and keeps you smiling! We share a lot of common interests which keeps us thoroughly occupied! BH 90210, Mommywood( well lets be fair, all of the Tori Spelling drama), Army Wives, Lady GaGA... and how could I forget Evolution of Dance Baby! BTW the Worm is the most horrible dance move created! Thats all I need to say... Love ya girl!

Dear Husband, I am thinking of you this Valentines Day, our first as husband and wife. I miss you much but I know I will see you soon enough. I hope your day is fabulous and that you are safe. I am so blessed that you are my forever valentine. I am thankful you work hard to support our family. I love you dearly. This is one of my favorite pictures you took offshore.
